Factory Certified Mechanics Program

Type of Program: Recognition program Recipient: Mechanics working  toward Factory Certification at Nissan car dealerships Items Presented: 3" and 3-1/2" medallions Objective: Recognize the Nissan mechanics with Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze level medallion that they attach to their tool chest. (Magnets are embedded into each medallion.) The medallions are recognition awards they receive for completing the different and higher levels of certified training. Description of Program: Mechanics have to complete and fully pass different levels of training so they are certified to work on all cars at the dealership. The more competent and efficient the mechanic becomes, the higher his level of certification. The program goal is to get a majority of the mechanics into the entry level of the program, and then have them continue to move up to the Platinum level of certification. Results: This new program will be ongoing and one that serves as a standard for Nissan mechanics nationwide.
